Cuisine ta ville, a great success for its 4th edition
Cuisine ta ville is an artistic and social event inviting people to meet the refugees and immigrants who make up the social fabric of the city of Montreal.
This fourth edition of Cuisine ta ville, spread over 10 days to mark the organization's 25th anniversary, was built around the theme of remembrance, exploring the suffering and hopes of those who have left their homelands. In addition to a French-language component entitled Nouveau Québec, this year's public was treated to a series of open-air installations and exhibitions, as well as a wide-ranging program of concerts, artistic performances, short and feature films, mediation workshops, dance classes, lectures and round-table discussions, not to mention the famous cooking parties.
A total of 36 nationalities were represented at this year's event.
