Created by ATSA in collaboration with Fred P. Corson, and thanks to support from the borough of Plateau-Mont-Royal, the Club des Amoureux des Bacs Organiques (CABO for short, or the club for lovers of food compost bins) expresses the unique relationship we have with our compost bins, an extension of our households to be cherished as we would a pet.
The first edition of CABO was held in August 2020, an artistic intervention conceived to raise the public’s awareness of issues related to composting, by developing their attachment to the brown bin. The project’s aim is to make the act of composting more attractive, making the brown bin a fun extension of our households. CABO does this through art and relies on the creativity of citizens to make people reflect on their relationship with the compost bin. Thus, ATSA invites you to make the brown bin an integral part of your household, as one would a pet!
We look forward to welcoming you to the Organic Bin Lovers Club!
