What your donation will help create
LA FERME or how to nurture a smart future This is the new ATSA project. LA FERME is an audio-visual and theatrical installation nourished with the intelligence of the public to initiate a collective critical approach surrounding the issues of AI which is disrupting our lives, the environment and global geopolitics. It is a project in constant creation, in perpetual mutation just like Artificial Intelligence. After a first end of residency event in May 2024, the overall project should be unveiled during spring 2025.

LA MONTAGNARDE will welcome 6 new artists for this 2024-2025 season (the names will be revealed soon). As in previous editions, each artist in the residency will offer a workshop and/or a presentation of their project to the Laurentian community during their stay. La Montagnarde is a creative space anchored in the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut and wishes to participate through this project in the wonderful vitality of this region.

Temps d’une Soupe goes on a summer tour along the river, from Rimouski to Gaspé via Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. In partnership with local catering companies, we will set up our chairs and our pots for unexpected encounters always with the perspective of sharing. Each stop will also be an opportunity to see an exhibition of the journey of the Temps d’une Soupe in the French-speaking world!

CUISINE TON QUARTIER is heading east again this summer, to meet new French-speaking immigrants from Newfoundland. We are hanging our signs in the Sommet Art Park in Moncton with our partner the Société de l’Acadie du Nouveau Brunswick and will launch these podcasts on June 23!

RETRO-ACTION an unusual geocaching route to revisit 25 years of ATSA interventions in Montreal by encouraging the viewer to rediscover our approach, the underlying issues and to continue to take concrete action. A project still in progress!

RESULTS OF THE 2022-2023 FUNDRAISER

Thanks to your donations in 2022-2023, ATSA was able to raise $32,038 and achieve the following:
CUISINE TA VILLE 2023 The 4th edition of our biennial relational art event on migration issues took place for 10 days at Place des Festivals, bringing together 230 artists and nearly 210 activities.
LA MONTAGNARDE A residency serving artists and their creation, with an open-minded approach to disciplines and flexible needs, hosted two land art artists in the fall of 2022: elparo (France) and Chloé Coomans (France).
CUISINE TON QUARTIER This inclusive social art project in the form of podcasts was carried out in three new Canadian provinces: British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
CABO (Le Club des Amoureux des Bacs Organiques). An artistic intervention by citizens on their compost bin. Four days of workshops were held in the parks of Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal this summer.
